Big Brother Burngreave: Sheffield group aims to carry on inspiring social change

Young people from a community group in Sheffield raised hundreds of pounds to get kids off the streets.

Big Brother Burngreave stops children and teenagers from being caught up in gang crime by offering activity sessions as an effective diversion. Last year it won the ‘Move More Power of Sports’ award for its good work – but the initiative needs funds to continue.

On Saturday a football tournament and barbecue was held at Concord Sports Centre in Shiregreen, where group leader Sahal Bare explained more.
